DescriptionAt center, a firing squad executes a man tied to a single post in the middle of the clearing. Just beyond, those killed before him lie dead on the ground. A skinny dog looks up at the violence in the foreground. In the background, the walls of a town can be seen rising behind the troops on the right, and on the left, the tents of the camp are situated at the base of a hillside.
