Descriptioncenter: Madonna with halo around head embracing Christ child against bosom, Madonna's head is covered and eyes are closed, heading tilted slightly downwards toward Christ child, her ankles are crossed and covered by long skirt of dress; swaddled Christ child in side profile has cruciform halo around head, his arms bent towards face of the Madonna and head looking upwards; Madonna and Christ child are flanked by six children looking at them--three on each side, two children in the front kneel while others stand, above a large hand surrounded by two clouds and radiant halo, hand has palm face down in blessing.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
