DescriptionAfter the drawing by J.M.W. Turner. The Grand Chartreuse runs through the Alps of Dauphine near Grenoble. Part of the uncompleted Liber Studorium for which Frank Short completed 47 etched and mezzotinted plates. Wooded landscape with river, bridge, and mill in background.
