DescriptionA perspective interior drawing the shows the large center nave of the house, the communal living and dining area, bedrooms of servants to the left, and stables to the right. Carpentry details shown in the illustration are derived from medieval examples. The timber-framed roof, however, is derived from the historical tradition of the Germanic all-purpose house.
