DescriptionPortrait of Toulouse-Lautrec's friend and fellow art student, "the good printmaker" Adolphe Albert. Albert sits in front of a window, drawing on a lithographic stone that is slightly raised up in front of him on a table. He wears a bowler hat, coat, and tie. The composition pays homage to Rembrandt's etched self-portrait of 1648.
