DescriptionBlack ink is printed over a bright red, making it appear as though thick bold brushstrokes glide horizontally across the sheet. On top, swaths of bright orange are layered over the red. Written across the top half of the image is a quote by Ugo Betti in the artist's scrawl: "to pesevere [sp] so obstinately is to be guilty of over simplification. No adult person...can be anything but doubtful that those poster labels, good and evil, can be pasted on anything. ugo betti"This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
