DescriptionHalf portrait of the wife of the Duke of Orleans, in three-quarter view. The Duchess's hair is cut short, and is wearing a string a pearls and a lace standing ruff, that is upright along the back of her collar. The portrait sits within an oval frame, decorated with various bundled flowers, including roses and daisies. Two putti adorn the cartouche at the bottom.
