DescriptionA very young Isaac stands leaning against his father Abraham, one arm draped over his knee and the other holding an apple. He looks outward, joyfully. The sitting Abraham holds Isaac, one hand on his son's face. This is a late Basan impression (date is original publication). The plate is worn and the dark areas are reworked. This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors. Our records are frequently revised and enhanced.
