DescriptionTwo hands work at a copper plate with etching tools. The arms fade away in detail, leaving room for the etched latin phrase, " ô laborum dolce lenimen," or, "Oh, sweet solace of labors." a date, "1565" is etched into the cap of one of the tools laying in the foreground.
