DescriptionChrist tied to cross, nude, with cruciform halo around head and crown of thorns. one arm up along horizontal section of cross. other arm bent downwards. left soldier holds hammer in one hand and holds nail to palm of Christ with other. right soldier kneels and holds feet of Christ at base of cross.
