DescriptionBirds-eye view of the monastery looking East. The church, located at the left section of the plan, with its height doubling that of the nave. Guest and service buildings are indicated by the use of basilican structures with central hearths and openings covering the roof, serving as a smoke escape and light inlets. Smoke is shown emerging from the roofs of guest and service buildings. Figures are included in front of the church to reveal the large scale of the monastery.
