DescriptionInterior view of the Abbey barn revealing its interior structure, where the columns function as load-bearers and spatial dividers. The stone columns branch out at the top to form a tree-like structure that connects the different parts of the roof, and lengthening its height. Arches in the center connect columns from the left to the columns at the right side. There are male figures working on the construction of the barn to the left. The arches and columns are placed parallel to one another, forming an echoing structure that frames the length of the barn's central circulation space. This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
