DescriptionHand fabricated; large slide in shape of Eagle Kachina, with square case head with oval red coral eyes, beak nose, four silver stalks attached to headdress, each stalk with large turquoise stone, and a turquoise stone at each ear. Large open wings attached to long body with twisted wire decorations on front of clothing, stamped design at hem, four turquoise stones on front of shirt, and three coral stones alternating with silver drops alongside of costume; all stones set in serrated bezels. High moccasins at feet, with tail feathers on back; slide on braided leather tie.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
