DescriptionHand fabricated; silver slide, braided and wrapped black leather tie with conical silver tips ending with concave bi-conical beads; elongated trapezoid shaped slide made by sand stone casting, of heavy silver, concave base, with plain channel bezel containing inlaid geometric shapes chips of different stones and shells in modern abstract configuration; on reverse of slide is a small, elongated oblong medallion soldered to base, with stamped rays at each end and artist's name engraved between, and two thick silver rings soldered at angles to hold leather tie in place; blue denim turquoise, medium blue-green turquoise, light blue-green turquoise with gold matrix, dark blue lapis, purple sugalite, green malachite, black jet, dark red coral, and pink and orange shells.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
