DescriptionHand made; wide strip of wood steamed and formed into hoop and stabilized with nails and also having two opposing holes, possibly made by burning; two narrower wood hoops, fitted onto larger hoop, one at top and one at bottom, which cover each end, having two round sections of animal skin attached to smaller hoops enclosing drum; skin attached with sinew threaded through small holes in animal skin, and around smaller hoops; small piece of sinew tied to lacing sinew for carrying; animal skin is various shades of light brown, sinew is tan and light brown, wider wood band is orange and tan colors.
