DescriptionHand made pouch, of doeskin, oval shaped, two pieces of leather stitched around most of edge, with short fringe, and tiny holes cut through in horizontal orientation near opening and having braided sinew inserted, providing method to close pouch; light taupe leather, with light yellow-tan sinew, clear crystal, dark blue faceted seed beads, and purple amethyst bead, tan horsehair; decoration consists of 2.8cm x 1.1cm quartz crystal, wrapped with horsehair and attached to braided sinew on one side of pouch; diamond design on beaded area surrounding crystal, made by weaving tiny dark blue faceted seed beads, with central purple amethyst barrel bead.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
