DescriptionMontoya depicts the duo Abrego-Ortiz (later called Los Alegres de Teran), two musicians from Nuevo León in northern Mexico. The duo, both represented as calaveras, are shown side-by-side, one playing a guitar and the other an accordion. They appear in black-and-white against a landscape of brown earth, green cacti, and blue sky.
