DescriptionHand coiled using paddle and anvil technique, of micaceous clay; squashed globular shape; rounded base and wall, constricting to open mouth and somewhat beveled up rim; restricted vessel; orange-brown ground, with dark red painted decorations, and gray fire clouds; design consists of multiple rows of terrace-like elements, alternating in each row to produce a somewhat diagonal configuration, and with tick marks around rim.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
