DescriptionHand coiled basket, probably one-rod willow foundation and splint with interlocking stitches, small, circular, counterclockwise start, flat base, globular body, constricting to wide open mouth, with whip stitched self-rim; restricted vessel; light tan ground and dark red decorations; design is called "Lizard Feet," and is three ascending rows of five diamonds, alternating with three rows of a detailed geometric motif that has stylized feet in a walking orientation, all extending diagonally from base to rim.
