DescriptionHand carved, stylized, perching eagle, with wings spread back from body, head erect, beak down turned, from large chunk of precious opal, with tiny, inset lapis eyes; stone skin is dark brown, lighter brown, and cream, with vein and large patch of blue, lavender, and yellow iridescent colors; incised features.
