DescriptionHand assembled, narrow band of commercial fabric, machine stitched with cotton thread; 21 large olivella shells, mostly cream and brown, with posterior end cut off and metal wire inserted through hole, and attached to threads sewn to band, thus hanging pendant from band; olivella shells have natural indentation lines which appear to have been enhanced, perhaps with dye; reddish-brown fabric, dark gray, and white metal wires. This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
