DescriptionHand modified jasper chisel, flat and elongated, narrower at one end, rounded and angular at other end; very smooth, with chipped areas on one side; golden brown with dark brown striations.
InterpretationsOn-line definition of an adz is a tool similar to an axe, with an arched blade at right angles to the handle, used for cutting or shaping large pieces of wood.
