DescriptionCouples dance in an ornate ballroom with lit chandeliers, mirrored walls, and paintings and reliefs above the doorways and windows. Some attendees sit in chairs, while some are caught in the action of entering or exiting the room. The print is decorated with an ornate frame and coat of arms below. This print by Duclos is based on a drawing by Augustin de Saint-Aubin that was exhibited in the Salon of 1773.
