DescriptionThe corpse of a hunted rabbit is strung up in by its back leg in the left foreground, its head laying on a block, vacantly looking at the viewer. Beyond, a luminescent landscape draws one's gaze in to the background, where a few vivacious rabbits play, jump, and eat, creating a no-so-subtle memento mori.
