DescriptionHand coiled and scraped white clay bowl; very small, slightly concave circular base, rounded wall to wide mouth opening, mostly rolled rim, thin globular body; restricted vessel; slipped, burnished with a stone; white with pinkish tint ground and black painted decoration; opposing design consists of two stylized birds with long beak, fancy tail feathers, linear and crosshatching elements on birds' body, with two small rabbits that have been horizontally cut into two pieces: head, ears and two front legs in front of the bird, and rear two legs near birds' legs; thick black stripe with white diagonal lanceolate elements in segments, at rim.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
