DescriptionHand made; rectangular board with permanent dry painted design, created by artist who lets colored sands flow through his fingers with control and skill onto prepared board covered with adhesive; black ground, with brown, red, orange, green, gray, and white; design consists of two Yei figures, one with rectangular head, the other with round head, both wearing same traditional Yei costume and accessories, but in different colors; each has a rattle in right hand and three plant stems in left hand; at center is large corn plant, with possible roots, and three stalks with beans, and other vegetal plants, oriented around a circle.
