DescriptionHand coiled and scraped; small circular base, rounded wall to high shoulder, constricting to very short neck and small square opening; restricted vessel; slipped; burnished; light tan ground with darker tan sgraffito decoration through incising or carving; design consists of three tiers of decoration, (1) lowest on wall is continuous band of inverted stepped elements; (2) continuous band of feather elements and (3) uppermost design has alternate double corn plants and double, back to back stepped elements.
