DescriptionHand coiled, using paddle and anvil method; small ball of clay flattened like pancake, edges gradually turned upward and dried, then coils added, surface smoothed, surfaces polished, decorated with applique; circular flat base, slightly rounded wall, constricting to two tall necked spouts with strap handle as part of openings; restricted vessel; slipped, polished; covered with pitch immediately after firing; dark reddish brown with black splotches; decoration consists of two large appliquéd ears of corn on front surface of the wall.
