DescriptionA colorful composition of the annunciation with the Virgin Mary (right) and the Angel Gabriel (left in dark purple). The byzantine-like design abstracts many of the details, but Mary's face and hands can be clearly seen: her face serene and one hand raised in acceptance of the Angel's news; the moment is which she replies "fiat."
