DescriptionSt. George is depicted as a knight on horseback, wearing plated armor and carrying a pennant, at the center of the small engraving. The horse and rider are positioned in profile, turning almost slightly away from the viewer. On the ground, just behind the horse's hooves, lies the lizard-like body of the vanquished dragon.
