DescriptionHand coiled and scraped; squashed globular shaped body; circular base, wall rounded to mid-shoulder, gently constricting to open mouth and flat rim; restricted vessel; slipped; burnished; strands of horse hair applied before firing; very light creamy tan ground, dark brown horse hair, dark blue green turquoise cabochon with black matrix inlaid after firing; random design from applied horse hair; incised stylized eagle with beak open and cabochon in its mouth stretched across the hair strands; geometric band above and below eagle, and arrow and two angular scroll elements emitting from its beak.
