DescriptionHand carved figure of turtle, head and legs extending out from shell covering, and hole drilled through neck, allowing fetish to be used as a pendant, cream brown and black bone, blue turquoise, carapace shell decorated with incised linear design, with four rectangular inlaid turquoise chips, and two circular inlaid chips into eye holes. Incised toes, unknown black substance, possibly paint, used to highlight incised lines.
