DescriptionThe infant Christ is held above the altar on the far right of the image. The Virgin Mary kneels in front of the altar offering two doves (or pigeons) in a small cage for sacrifice. Joseph presumably stands next to her holding a key. A large pillar divides the image in the far left, and a man wraps his arms around the support and leans against it in the crowded room. The artist's cachet hangs from the bottom of the column.
