DescriptionA young Isaac, at center, kneels on one leg with a staff in his right hand. He points behind him, towards the outlines of a town in the far distance. God flies above him, carried in on rolling clouds, His draped robes fluttering around His body. He also points to the distant city, commanding Isaac not to go. After a design by Raphael for a Vatican fresco. This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors. Our records are frequently revised and enhanced.
