DescriptionHand coiled and scraped bowl; rounded base and short wall, constricting slightly to wide mouth and mostly beveled down rim; restricted vessel; slipped; light orange-red ground on interior, with dark red and black painted decorations, and gray fire cloud; on exterior, gray-tan ground, with dark red-brown and black painted decorations; interior design has thick black stripe below rim, and pendant from it are two opposing and similar patterns that include up and down stepped elements and solid elongated triangles, points touching, with parallel vertical lines as fillers, and angular red stripe connecting the two patterns; exterior has thick black stripe at rim with angular, and stepped elements, and one checkerboard element, pendant from stripe.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
