DescriptionLong modernist (international style) rectangular structure raised on piloti recedes from right to left, colored bands in green, blue, and grey are arranged around it; patterns of parallel lines of different colors and directions superimposed over one another creating moiré patterns; resembles an enlarged banknote--the Euro most notably--without text. The building featured is based on Le Corbusier's Unité d'Habitation residential housing design concept, the most famous of which was built in Marseilles. This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
