DescriptionHand coiled and scraped jar; rounded base and wall to mid-shoulder, sharply constricting to tall neck, wide mouth, and thin rim; restricted vessel; slipped; orange-tan ground with black and dark red painted decorations, and gray fire cloud; design consists of black stripe with four sets of pendant, opposing angular spirals around neck; wide band at shoulder with two alternating patterns in repeated sequence of three: stepped diagonal motif with inner parallel lines, and three stepped angular spirals with barbs, and flanked by stripes.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
