DescriptionHand modeled Koshari storyteller figurine with three musicians: (1) large drummer, (2) medium size flute player on the shoulders of (1), and (3) small drummer sitting on top of large figure's drum; (1) and (3) have a wood twig beater in their right hand, and drum is resting horizontally in lap of (1) and (3); musician (2) is playing a long wood twig flute held in both hands; all are wearing traditional costume of breechcloth, and appropriate facial paint and hair style; (1) and (3) painted black and white stripes, with white moccasins, and (1) has red blanket thrown over his back; (2) has both red and black and white and black stripes vertically separated, and white moccasins; facial paint for two larger figures are red and white with black outlines; smallest figure has only black and white lines; smallest figure has short piece of corn husk atop head.
