DescriptionHand coiled, scraped, and modeled pitcher in shape of duck's body; hollow; elongated rounded base, curving up at one end for tail, and curving upward at opposite end for breast of duck, with two knobs for wings, and constricting to tall, oval neck, with uneven and broken rim, and wide strap handle attached to back of duck figure and to rim area; restricted vessel; slipped; tan clay, gray-white ground with black painted body decorations, and black and gray fire clouds; design consists of three sets of long parallel lines, one set has 6 lines, one has 7 lines, and the third has 8 lines; 3 serrated bands at neck; 3 sets of short stripes on handle, of 2 stripes, 3 stripes, and 3 stripes; 2 sets of short stripes on figure's back.
