DescriptionHand coiled and scraped; flat, circular base, gradually rounded wall to mid-shoulder, slightly constricting to wide mouth and rolled rim; restricted vessel; slipped; interior glazed; white clay; [ombre] light to dark ground, pale peach at base, to light brownish-gray at mid-section and dark brownish gray at top; feet and hands are light gray, outlined red; faces are flesh colored and outlined with reddish-brown and red; hair is dark gray and fashioned in traditional roll tied with white yarn or cloth; design is three women in different poses with incised features, or it possibly could be the same woman in three different poses. Separate catalog information: hand-cast ceramic vase with washes of light pink and lavender color. Paintings of woman seated in black pigment.
