DescriptionHand coiled and scraped vase; circular flat base, gently flared wall to mid-shoulder, constricting to double neck, with "U" shaped strap handle connecting two necks on interior sides; restricted vessel; slipped; burnished; white ground with black and red painted decorations/ design consists of same motif on both sides of vase, highly stylized bird with multiple feathers, stippling, cross-hatching, stepped elements, and bands of geometric elements, and stepped design on handle with feathers.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
