DescriptionHand coiled and scraped; large, circular, flat base, rounded wall to mid-shoulder, constricting to short neck and out curving rim; restricted vessel; slipped, burnished; cream ground, with orange, black, and red painted decorations, with dark orange fire clouds; design is traditional "migration" pattern of the Nampeyo family, with 8 large tail feather elements pendant from red stems around neck, and multiple parallel lines over the body with superimposed lines crossing and creating lozenges.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
