DescriptionHand woven on upright loom, probably using hand spun yarns; large rectangular panel, with tassel at each corner; dark burgundy, black, gray, cream, and brown; design consists of large X motif at center with small rectangular boxes at each corner, and a larger rectangle at center; zigzags connect the center with the four corners; black border with geometric "teeth" along two sides; fillers between main design and border filled with geometric and stylized elements that may represent arrows, and feathers, clouds, and water beetles; zigzag elements represent thunderbolts.
