DescriptionA red and swollen foot, clearly affected by the titular affliction, rests on a cushion. A small demon with a barbed tail, bat-like ears, and fire emanating from its nostrils, bites into the swollen foot with long fangs and hooks into the skin with its talons. It seems an accurate animation of the symptoms of gout. This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
