DescriptionHand coiled, modeled, and probably using paddle and anvil technique; rounded base and wall to high shoulder, constricting to tall, wide neck, and thin uneven rim, with thick strap handle attached to rim and shoulder, and three pointed protuberances evenly spaced at shoulder; restricted vessel; slipped; grayish-white ground with black painted decorations; design consists of stripes on handle; concentric circles around pointed protuberances, concentric zig zag band with hooks pendant from rim, and wide band of repeated sequence stepped elements on lower wall.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
