DescriptionHand coiled, scraped, and modeled; duck shape body, rounded base and wall, with two side protuberances representing wings, and one at rear representing tail, with wall constricting at opposing end to wide neck and mouth, with uneven rolled rim, wide strap handle attached to neck and back of duck's body; restricted vessel; slipped; gray clay, white ground, black painted decoration, dark gray fire clouds; design consists of geometric motif with interior parallel lines and concentric angular scrolls.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
