DescriptionHand coiled and scraped pitcher; squashed globular body; rounded base and wall, constricting to short neck and wide mouth, with thick walled, somewhat rolled rim, and wide strap handle attached to neck and mid wall; restricted vessel; slipped; grayish-white with black, and black and gray fire clouds; design consists of continuous band around neck of stepped solid elements in bifold rotation; wide band around wall, in repeated sequence of vertical parallel lines framing panels of interlocked and bifold rotated stepped solids; cross hatching on handle.
