DescriptionHand made rattle from gourd, with cylindrical wooden rod inserted through stem end and center of gourd, and glued in place, with string attached where handle and gourd are joined; gourd has seeds inside for noise; black painted ground with white painted decorations, and brown wood; design consists of wavy band with pendant feathers; several strands of yellow-tan buckskin thong tied around handle.This record has been reviewed by University Galleries staff but may be incomplete or contain errors.
