DescriptionAn allegorical image of Time--an old winged man with a scythe--clipping Cupid's wings with large shears. The little Cupid tries to twist out of Time's grasp as he looks back at his threatened wings. They are surrounded by a dark landscape, with a fallen column just in the background to their left.
