DescriptionHand coiled, of micaceous clay, using paddle and anvil technique; large circular mostly flat base, rounded wall started at corner point, gradually constricting to very short neck and everted rim; restricted vessel; slipped; pink-buff, with red painted decorations, and gray fire cloud; design consists of repeated sequence of three large spirals alternating with set of two vertical wavy stripes; neck and rim probably had red stripes but they are now faded and missing.
